Excellent wooden plank construction kit with all fittings provided in the box. Rated by Billing as "Advanced Beginner" level

Builds into a model of length 47cm, height 32.5cm and beam 11cm. Fittings supplied in brass and plastic, plus all thread for rigging.

Kit will require paints, glue and normal craft tools which have to be purchased separately (see "Tools" section of my store).

The St. Roch was built at the Burrard Dry Dock in North Vancouver in 1928, intended for sailing in Arctic waters. It was the first ship to sail through the North-West Passage from the Pacific to the Atlantic. In the summer of 1944 the St. Roch sailed from Halifax to Vancouver, thereby becoming the first ship to complete the journey in both directions.
